About

Born and raised in South Africa, I moved to New York where my illustration career began accidently by creating corporate illustrations for IBM and Xerox's human resources intranet sites.

I work primarily with Billy Bladwin Stories who creates books that celebrate the underdog as hero.

I have also illustrated a number of stories for Andrew Newman's Conscious Stories who create stories to raise mindful kids... while fostering deeper connection with your children.

My love for illustration has been rewarded with the prestigious MoonBeam awards (The Last Leaf and The Elephant Who Tried to TipToe); Mom's Choice Awards and Creative Child's Book of the Year awards (The Elephant Who Tried to TipToe) and This Book Rocks! awards (Babtionary).

My motto is: "To create it with a smile and a wink."

I now illustrate full-time in Jeffreys Bay, South Africa with my son Thomas and a menagerie of pets.
